Lucia or Lucy is Rio's and Carlito's mother. She also had the same experience as her husband when it came to raising her kids since they have such a long age gap. With Rio she was more aggressive and demanding while with Carlito she had less energy to punishment him but became more attached to him for being the youngest and last one to leave the house. With Rio gone doing his own thing in the streets, her husband very involved with his farming around the fields, and Carlito gone to open his own computer shop, Lucy decided that she would not remain in the house by herself anymore. With her immerse library of her own made recipes she decided to open a restaurant. Carlito helped her get the business started and when it picked up he left it all to her and she ran with it really well. Everyone in the restaurant, from the employees to the customers, loved Lucy. Her food made people forget for just an instant the empty lives everyone is living in. Despite Lucy loving her job with the combination of her high blood pressure and the stress of keeping the restaurant operational lead her to dying of a heart attack. |
